How to Make a Samsung Text Message Screenshot

Write a conversation and get the Samsung Messages screen around it — tinted bubbles, per-run timestamps, delivery label, and typing indicator, exported at real Galaxy resolutions.

·4 min read

To make a Samsung text message screenshot, open the Samsung Text Message Generator, write the conversation, and mark each line as sent or received — then set the contact, timestamps, and theme, and export at a real Galaxy resolution. It renders Samsung Messages specifically, tinted bubbles and all, rather than the Google Messages screen most Android generators produce.

Check you want Samsung Messages first

Recent US Galaxys text through Google Messages by default; Samsung Messages is the app on older and many international phones. The two look clearly different, and the comparison sorts out which your screenshot should show. If the answer is Google Messages, use the Android Text Message Generator instead — same idea, right app.

Write the conversation

Add messages in the Samsung Text Message Generator and flip each one between you and the contact — yours tint blue on the right, theirs sit gray on the left, and consecutive messages from the same sender group with the tail on the last bubble, the way the real app draws a run.

The Samsung-specific details

Set the per-run timestamp — Samsung stamps the time under the last bubble of each run, which Google Messages does not do — plus an optional delivery label in Samsung's blue, and a typing indicator if the other side is mid-reply. The status-bar clock defaults to 12:45, Samsung's own marketing time.

Theme and export

Light theme tints the sent bubble pale blue with dark text; dark theme goes true black with a navy bubble. Export at 1080×2340 for an S-series, 1440×3120 for a QHD+ flagship, or 1080×2640 for a Z Flip — what those numbers mean is in Android screenshot sizes. As with every generator here, it is for mockups, tutorials, and content — not for passing off an exchange as real.
