Facebook Post Generator

Build a post as an image for a slide, a mockup or a content plan. Text, photo, timestamp and the reaction row, in light or dark.

Unofficial mockup tool. Useful Drawer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., and Facebook is their trademark. Every interface element here is drawn from scratch rather than taken from their application. See our terms.

What it is for

Slides, mockups, content calendars, training material, and design work where a post needs to look real before it exists. Not for attributing words to people who did not say them.

Everything stays on your computer

The card is drawn in the page and exported by your own browser. Photos and profile pictures you add are read from your files and never leave the machine.

Questions

Why not screenshot a real post?

A real screenshot brings everything around it: your own sidebar, an ad, a cropped edge, and whatever width your window happened to be. This gives you the post on its own at a consistent size, which is what a slide or a mockup needs, and it lets you write the text.

Does my photo get uploaded?

No. Images are read from your own files with the browser's file reader and drawn into the preview. There is no server here to upload them to.

What size is the export?

1000 pixels wide, with the height following the content, rendered at twice the size shown so it stays sharp in a deck.

Can I use this to fake someone's post?

You can type anything, the same as any image editor, and that does not make it lawful. Putting invented words against a real person is defamation in most places. Use it for mockups, your own posts, and invented examples.

What would make this tool better? A device that's missing, a detail that looks wrong, an option you went looking for and didn't find — all of it is useful. Send a note.
